My name's Haydn, and I run punkrockportraits.com. I set the website up to let fans of bands (and the bands themselves) see the photos I've taken at gigs over the past three years. It's not a business, it's just a hobby I fit in around my day job.

I live in Nottingham and shoot most of my gigs in the East Midlands (Nottingham, Derby, Leicester etc), but will happily travel further afield for a decent band. :) I'll listen to pretty much any kind of music, but punk rock is where my heart is.

My photography is completely digital from start to finish, and while I don't usually use a flash at gigs, I do think it has it's place occassionally. I'll shoot pretty much any kind of gig, be it from a nice spacious press area or by fighting my way through the mosh pit.

My equipment includes the Canon 5D and 20D digital SLRs, along with a variety of fast Canon and Sigma lenses (primes and zoom).

When viewing this site, please remember that all monitors are different, so the colours might sometimes look slightly different to the way they are intended.

Please note that I don't make my photos available to bands for free. You can find more information on why I made that decision here, but I appreciate that most bands aren't the most financially solvent groups of people.
